Do not come to the piano studio if you have or have had in the past 14 days a cough, a fever, shortness of breath, difficulties breathing, flu-like symptoms, gastrointestinal upset, or experienced a loss of taste or smell. If you have a known exposure, please do not attend an in-person lesson and switch to remote lessons until your quarantine period is over. You will not be charged for missed lessons due to illness or quarantine, so do not come if you are ill in any way. If it is obvious that you are ill, you will be asked to leave. If you or a family member have been exposed to Covid-19, please do not come to the studio until you have completed your quarantine period.
Piano Studio
Do not bring food or drink into the studio.
The piano keyboards and any pencils used by the student will be cleaned between each lesson with a 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution.
There is a Blueair 603 whole-room hepa filtration unit in the piano studio, as well as upstairs. The 603 is like the 605 currently offered on Amazon. If you'd like to know more about these filtration units, Amazon has a lot of information.
Face Masks & Hand Sanitizer
Everyone entering the studio must be wearing a properly fitting mask that covers both the nose and mouth. If you have forgotten your mask, knock and wait at the studio entrance, and I will bring one to you. Do not attend your piano lesson if you or any member of your family are sick. Hand sanitizer will be located at the entrance and at each piano.
Lesson Times
Lessons will be scheduled with 15 minute breaks between students for keyboard cleaning. Only one student is allowed in the studio at a time. Please wait in your car until your assigned lesson time, do not come in early and stay late.
If there is a known Covid-19 exposure within the piano studio, we will move online for two weeks or until the end of our quarantine period.
Waiting Room
The old waiting room now serves another purpose, however you may still access the bathroom if needed. Please be sure to wash your hands before returning to your lesson. There will be plenty of room and seating in the piano studio to serve as a waiting area.
